End Screen Problem

I have a problem I am having hoping someone can help me with but first I’d like to say how helpful and informative this forum is and I am glad I found it. The problem I seem to have is adding a end screen to my videos. I purchased a end screen animated video from a website that specializes in animated logos, end screens ect. I had to make the end screen video longer then it was because when I tried to add elements in the end screen option it states that videos must me 25 seconds long and the end screen video I purchased is less than 25 seconds. The video I purchased has two boxes on the left that is designed to display my other channels. Can anyone please tell me how to add my other channels to the boxes on the left…do I just add elements over those boxes? and since this is a animated video at what point do i actually add any elements to it? Thanks for any help.

I've moved this to the editing discussion forum. :) End screens can only be active for a maximum of 20 seconds, and can be shorter than that, if needed. The 25 seconds refers to the length of the entire video, which should already include the endscreen edited onto the end of it. When you upload a video with your endscreen, and the entire video is longer than 25 seconds, you will have an option to add an end screen during the upload process. Clicking on that option takes you to the endscreen editor. There, you will be able to add video link buttons and channel link buttons, however, these are static images. Many YouTubers edit in their previous videos into their endscreen before they export their videos to ensure something shows up in the circumstances that endscreens are not available. :)

I pretty much know how to add an end screen from you tubes own templates but i had purchased a animated video end screen and when i try to use the video end screen i purchased im told...

"This video does not have end screens to import" . I just cant figure out how to use the video itself as my end screen. As you can see on the pic it does have two boxes on the left that seem to be made to insert elements at some point.

figured it out yet? when you are setting up endscreen on YouTube you can select different templates or add elements/videos & literally move them around to fit where needed

btw make it easy to find your channel, put a link under name(age) as seen under mine to the LEFT of this msg - read my signature on HOW TO below this msg

If I understand what you;ve purchased correctly - The endscreen you purchased should be added on to your video when editing and exported as part of the overall clip. Then when uploaded to youtube you overlay the youtube elements on top of the placeholders (boxes) etc.
