End Credits

I haven't posted here in ages. But alas, I have returned on my birthday. A thought came to me as to how people put end credits advertising previous or proceeding videos with the fancy annotation button layouts and so on. Does anyone have a clue on how it's done?

well if youre talking about an outro then youre going to need some kind of photoshop. i use gimp(its free). But annotations you have to set those up via youtube in video mager . just look it up on youtube it should show you how to do it.... sorry if i didnt really help and also you will need good video editing software(sony vegas, avs, etc).

Some people have still images with buttons and everything, created specifically for them. Put in two, or as many as you like, green-screen/any-other-otherwise-unused-color-screen to use their video editing software to add videos with Chroma Keying. After upload, they make annotations mapping out every button, with a link to whatever they have in their outro. This is often Subscribe, 2 other videos and social media.
If you want an animated outro, I suggest making it entirely in your video editing software instead of a Photo editing program.

Basically, you'll have the "button" images edited onto the ending of your video and have them hang there for 10 seconds or so with background music or whatever. After you upload, you manually set rectangular hyperlink annotations onto the buttons using Youtube's annotation feature.

We made ours using PowerPoint, since it has some pretty decent, basic editing options and effects. Loaded the image onto my video timeline at the end, shrunk my video to fit (I use Adobe Premier Elements 11), and then annotated links on top after I uploaded it onto YouTube.

I have Gimp, but I'm not to sure on how to use it. Sorry it took me so long to reply, I lost track of where this post was.
