Encountering Issues With Thumbnails?

Hey all!

So, I recently monetized and was excited to see I got custom thumbnails!

So I used one on my most recent video - 1280x720, and less than the 2MB upload limit. The thumbnail currently shows up in My Uploads. However, it's using a YouTube-generated thumbnail in my subscribers' feeds and on my channel page.

I've reached out to YouTube support, and I'll update when I hear back, but just wondering if anyone else has encountered problems like this?

Ah, really? Is there a way to know when it's processed? I'm just wondering because I haven't seen many YouTubers thumbnails change - are they all uploading things early and waiting for the thumbs to process?

Argh! So pretty much...don't push your video public until 16 hours after you've uploaded it? :'-(

Yeah as everyone else said it just takes a bit to change it so be patient xD

Well no make it public just be patient in waiting for the thumbs. I've never had to wait for mind providing I put the thumbs in as I'm uploading.l,

Yeah, I'm just concerned that sometimes the default thumb is not too flattering, and I rely pretty heavily on the initial release to generate some shares. Ah well. I'll just have to work on creating my content faster.
