Enabling donations

I recently added a "support my channel" buton to my channel links, which leads to google sites page, where you can donate to my channel using paypal or patreon. I just want to make sure if I'm allowed to do that? I've seen other channels doing simillar thing.

Nooooo, not allowed!
Google are slowly introducing a "Fan Funding" donation method integrated directly with YouTube, it will be ~1 month until it is available for you to use. So my advice is use that until then or risk getting adsense banned and never being able to earn money from Google/YouTube again :p

Thank you, i removed it D: But can you explain me how can TheAmazingAtheist have a donate option? Or is he going to remove it when a fanfunding option becomes available?

Either:
1) YouTube have not noticed yet.
2) He has requested it directly with Google and they accepted.
3) He is partnered with a Network that has a contract with Google which allows this :p
