When I'm using my elgato my tv quality looks like it's in 360p. I have my ps3 set to 1080p and my elgato recording at 720p. It looks so bad,does anyone know why or have this same issue
 
Ok On your TV it looks like 360? What does it look like in your Elgato Game Capture? It all depends on your TV. My game looks great because my TV is HDTV so that is why it looks like HD automatically. I just got my elgato yesterday and it came in really well. Also if you record your gameplay and have a seperate editing software, you can download the mp4 file of the video and move it to your editing software that can automatically change it to 720p or 1080. It is a simple and easy to use recording card at that. A lot smaller than I thought and would suggest it to all who want it.

No dude. My tv is hd its justmy tv quality drops when i use my elgato.
 
Have you tried setting the Elgato to record in 1080p rather 720p to see if that helps? I know when the elgato is hooked up to pc or laptop you can control the quality of your tv through the device
 
The elgato should not mess with your TV settings. I would contact elgato support for this.
