Elgato Game Capture Problem

I've Got It
i record a session of castlevania with my elgato then after it processes on game capture hd i go back to listen to it and mid way thru the audio is out of sync with the gameplay why is this

Happens to me sometimes too. Make sure you are not recording for long periods of time. The audio usually fixes itself over time, if it does not then separate the video and audio and line them up.

Sometimes the software can't work out what the difference between audio and video sync is so it just makes a guess... some softwares actually let you put in the number of milliseconds if you know what the difference if (it's 4 with Hauppauge HDPVR's).

You'll have to just take the video into some editing software and sync it yourself. At the start of each recording I suggest you open a menu and click up and down while saying up and down at the same time.

so no one nos any solution to actually fix it in the software that doenst involve adjusting stuff in editing

It's because there is a timeline and when you stop recording it's not live. So when u start to record again there will be a delay with your commentary. Make sure when you start to record you always set the timeline to live

This is not true. Anytime you record, stop, and record again, it records fresh. Meaning, there will not be a delay from stopping and starting.
