Elgato Game Capture HD: Commentary Cuts Out. [HELP]

Hello forum,

I have been having problems with the new Elgato software. My commentary audio cuts out after a random amount of time. Everything else works fine but the commentary just stops recording all together whilst the blue button implies that it is still recording. Even in the raw files the commentary is messed up.

I have seen another post relating to this but that was pretty old and the software and hardware have both changed a lot since then. Also, I think their problem was the machine they were running it on. I have no worries what so ever about my iMac's performance. This issue lies somewhere in the programme, I am sure.

I would really appreciate it if someone had a fix for this or knew what is up. Thank you.

I had the same issue on one clip but not on any other clips i just restarted the software and it was fine again

Strange, it happens every time I record. I can just use Audacity for my commentary but it is much more convenient to use this when recording from my XB1

Just record using something else. webcam, audacity, etc. Makes a lot less headaches other than syncing. Which isn't hard either.

It syncs up fine when it works. I use Audacity when I need to. I just would obviously prefer to use the software which should work :/[DOUBLEPOST=1419848862,1419848816][/DOUBLEPOST]

The system I use is irrelevant as my commentary comes from my Snowball not my Xbox.
