Editing Software

I am currently planning to make some PC gaming videos with a friend of mine, but am unsure of which video editing software to use. Currently I only have Movie Maker, which I personally feel is a bit poor and not very expansive for editing purposes. So I just wondered what you guys would recommend. Thanks.
