Editing software freezing

My editing software keeps freezing and I dont know why. It's arcsoft showbiz can someone help.

In what way is it freezing? Like not responding or the video playback sticks?

If that software isn't working for you and you decide to defect to another program, may I suggest you consider trying Lightworks, its good and free.

It doesnt respond and then i have to edit it all again getting annoying.

you should try a different software like lightworks and see if it does it then, if so it might be your computer doesn't have the capable hardware or possibly some other error, I don't know particularly I'm just guessing here
