Editing Software for Gaming Videos

Hello,
I'm currently using Camtasia to edit my videos, but it's only the trial version so it'll run out soon, and £200 seems like a lot to spend on the full version. What editing software do you guys recommend that isn't too expensive? I'll be using it for gaming videos if that's relevant at all.

I mean, there's always Windows Movie Maker which is free and simple to use.
If you want to pay a bit, there's also Adobe Premiere which is really nice.

Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects work hand in hand with each other and you can make great quality videos once you get a hang of using them. They are expensive though so what I did was I downloaded the trial, and every month, I'd uninstall it and re-install the trial. I did that for a few months until I was able to get them.

They do both seem to be very good for editing but I didn't think something like that would work?
