Editing Montages

Hey everyone, not sure if this is the right section, but how do you guys edit your montages? like where do you stop the clip of a kill then show another clip of a kill? like transitioning it.

It depends . I used to do montages ( all gone cuz of the copyrighted music ) and i used so many transitions i can't even remember them rofl .
On youtube you'll find cool transition tutorials .

Jump cuts and cross dissolves are the most professional transitions. Don't use the fancy ones included in your program. They'll distract the audience.

Very true. I hate when people got like the windmill or those really complex ones. Fade or nothing. Thats my strong opinion!

I'm very glad to see someone else agrees with me. It just looks amateur to me when people use those other transitions because they can instead of because they should.
