MCN can editing it for you under their CMS as i know .

A MCN can not edit it over their CMS. Once a asset is created on the monetiztion tab it can not be changed. You will need to re-upload the video.

The Content ID asset can be changed but that type of asset can only be created by a CMS holder.

An assets details can only be edited when the video it is for is uploading or via a Content Owner account so if you are with an MCN they can do this for you :)

Shane are you sure? As I tried doing this before I posted a reply.

  1. The details and input fields of an asset can be changed via the Content Owner linked to the channel
  2. There's no "content id assets" Content ID merely claims UGC of an asset enabled for Content ID claiming in a content owner, that can be from either channel-uploaded, dropbox uploaded or CMS-uploaded sources.

100%.

The Content ID asset is known as a Asset label. Mainly used to claim a group of videos under a label. Letting MCN's better manage their clients copyrights under one single asset. These assets let the CMS holder create asset-based or label-based Campaigns for the content. This asset can be easily created by trying to manually claim a video. As it ask you for a asset label to claim the video under. Either choosing an existing asset or creating a new one.
