I don't know why you would need one unless you don't have the knowledge of putting a video together yourself. Its not like you're a big youtuber with busy schedules.

We've just never seen a smaller youtuber start paying someone to edit for them, it's always a big youtuber with at least 500k subscribers that needs to focus on making a ton of videos and make thumbnails and such. If you really think you need/want an editor, then be my guest. I personally would wait until i knew how to edit somewhat professionally so i can edit videos myself if need be (if something happens where your editor can't do it or your editor decides to quit editing videos for you).
