Earnings seem a bit off?

I got partnered with QuizGroup on 22nd Jan last month and have had 3746 views since then but my estimated earnings is only $3.38 even though my playback-based CMP is $4.88 and playback-based gross revenue is $6.11 and estimated monetized playbacks is 1,253. Surely i should have more earnings? im not that bothered atm because its not alot of money but in the future when my channel gets bigger it'll be annoying if im getting robbed. Or have i totally misunderstood?

dont networks usually rip you off when you have a small channel? that's what i heard

Pretty much. I'm seeing a lot of people here with small channels signing up to networks. I don't understand why you'd want to give a cut of your revenue to them for little in return.

I couldn't monetize my videos if i didn't join a network so i had to if i wanted to make any amount of money.

$4.88 CPM isn't great, but it certainly could be worse. You're also not getting enough views to make a real judgement.

As far as the math though, it's entirely correct. $4.88 CPM over 1253 views is a gross advertiser cost of $6.11. YouTube takes 45% because they host the services, and you're left with $3.36. It says $3.38 but of course these are estimates. For the actual payment, it will be less as well since Quizgroup will take their revenue share as well.

i got 1,338 views yesterday and only got $0.89, hows it so low if my CPM is $4.70? shouldnt i have made like $5 for yesterday?
