Dual Commentary - Tips

Hello Guys!

Me and my friend are planing to do a dual commentary YouTube channel. We have bought some equipment, and realised that we needed some help to set it all up.

We've got a Fucusrite Scarlet 2I2, and two Røde Procaster. At first I thought that it would be quit easy to set it up, but afterwards I realised some problems.

As said, we're two people that wants to do dual commentary. Under the first recording one issue occurred. Since the recorder is just connected to one computer, and only has one audio jack. We weren't able to hear the gameplay and each other at the same time. Is it able to set it up that both hears the audio that outputs from the recorder, and their own gameplay at the same time?

Thanks!

I have a Focusrite! But unfortunately, I did not set mine up so I have no idea how to help...

I know that you need a splitter though!

What are you using to record? Try the USB Output on the Scarlet too.
Yes I'll use the USB output. But the problem is that it only connects to one computer, and we wants to hear each other and our own gameplay simultaneously. So if it is just connected to one computer only one person are able to hear the conversation. and not the other. Sorry for my bad formulation, not a native english speaker!
