DSLR or Camcorder for gameplays?

If you have lighting sorted then I would probably go with either a camcorder or webcamera. You will likely find them easier to set up for recording each time. Focusing on yourself can be an issue especially if you dont get a DSLR with a swivel screen. It should be quicker for you too.

I think I'm going with the Sony FDR-AX33 camcorder... With good lightining, the tripod and the audio apart with the condenser mic will be good. I'd prefer the FDR-AX100 but the price is 800€ vs 1300€...

In my opinion, get a good quality webcam (HP HD 4310 is the one I use, works great) and have that recording on the side with Open Broadcaster Software. For the most part your video will only be in the corner anyway so pixel to pixel quality isn't so important, but for the moments when you do zoom in for a reaction shot a decent quality webcam will be useful.
Hope this helped!

On the topic of DSLRs, I'd definitely invest in one anyway if you don't already own them. They're just so versatile; whether your into photography or videography! Perhaps not the best tool suited for gameplay videos, but it sure will increase the production quality of your videos if you use it well.
