I suppose this is more of a technical question. Hopefully it's not too far out of place here.
I have had a problem with people downloading and reposting my videos on YouTube and other video sites.
I was wondering if YouTube or any of the many download tools embed the IP address or any other identifying info within the video file. In other words, if someone downloads a video and passes it around, is there anyway to identify the computer that did the download?
Seems unlikely, but possible.
