After watching numerous videos of people installing Magic Lantern on their cameras, I decided to give it a go. It was very simple, and I don't think I will be going back to the original software. My main reason for downloading it was that my Canon EOS M (1st version, old I know), didn't auto focus when I shot my videos. Even though I wasn't sure if it even would fix my problem I downloaded it anyways, and come to find out it did. If the camera itself is capable of doing it, I don't know why Canon didn't include auto-focus while recording video. But thankfully Magic Lantern came to the rescue, and I don't have to worry about messing up the focus or it being blurry while I record. If you have a camera that Magic Lantern could run on, I definitely recommend trying it out. Don't worry if you don't like it, it's very easy to uninstall as well.
