does vegas have a wand tool

like the title says does it have a wand tool kinda like gimp were you can cut out a certain item and make the background of it transparent
for example

2:20-2:24
(way more examples in the video just this one is the most noticable )

(kinda feel like you can only do this in after effects but wanna check before i give up hope)

Hey there, I think I may be able to help you! What Vegas has is a tool called "Sony Chroma Keyer" you can find this by right clicking the image/clip you want to use it on and selecting Media FX, what you can then do is select a colour and tinker around with it until the item is gone.

You can add more of these chroma keyers to get rid of different colours, however if you only want to get rid of certain areas e.g there are two yellow balloons and you only want to get rid of one, you may have problems!

Hopefully this is of some use to you, in some cases, I'm going to try tinkering around with Vegas to see if there's anything that can do a better job in more situations!
