I always wanted to play some songs (from top artists) but all of these copyright crap is preventing me to do so. I truly respect the artist's work and would like to give credit, but its not easy like it looks.
So I've found this video on youtube and this guy (who is partner) has been using copyrighted music on his videos by using this method. It looks weird but it seems to be working for him... What do you think?

also is there another method way to avoid being flagged from copyright.

PS: I know Creative Commons is... so don't bother mentioning it.
 
You can cite and source all you want, if you don't have the requisite express consent to be reproducing copyrighted material, those citations won't do a thing...
 
Music is weird. If it isn't caught immediately, it'll get found out eventually. I've seen videos get busted for copyright violation months after being uploaded. I'd just say don't risk it, and only use music that is royalty-free, or that you've been given the rights to use. Play it safe! :)
 
just dont risk it dude, theres plenty of good royalty free music out there, don't try to out smart google... it wont work out well they hold your acount in their hands
