Does RPM improve over time?

I've Got It
Hi folks,

I signed up with a YouTube network in January and looking at the earnings stats it seems to be significantly lower than when I was earning directly with YouTube and this is taking in consideration that I've actually gained a healthy number of subscribers and views since moving from YouTube.

I am aware that due to the YT network earnings split I should be earning lower vis-a-vis. Since I'm new to my network could the much lower earning be due to ad tweaking, and perhaps this should improve over time?

It goes up during the summer months and is at the highest in december (before christmas)

It`s nothing to do with subs/views, It`s to do with 1) the network, 2) where you live, 3) where your viewers live 4) audience retention , 5) video lenght , 6) ad type there is more but these are the main ones :)

hmm are the earning stats generally released that quickly? I believe that they aren't released for that month until the last day of the month :o

January payments are horrible for everyone because advertisers aren't spending as much ad money. Give it another month or two for it to go back up.

It's interesting how this works. While January is very low for CPMs, generally advertisers are paying huge CPMs before Christmas season, so if you see a sharp decline in revenue from October-November, that's a good reason why :)
