Does it upset you when you lose a sub?

Does it upset you when you lose a subscriber? I don't think I get upset just it's so hard to gain subscribers that when you lose one you wonder why, what are you doing wrong and why did they unsubscribe?

Does it bother you at all?

For me I am not too bothered, not to the extent of becoming upset. I think the worst times is when you hit a milestone and youre like "yay I just hit it at last, thank you so much" and then a few hours later you're back down one or two.

Yeah I dont think I get upset, just would love to ask the person if you knew who left why they left to find out if there is anything we could improve on.

It doesn't upset me it just leaves me with many unanswered questions. I would like it if when they left they'd leave a reason as to why they unsubbed so I can work on it.

Yea I totally agree, we are planning on doing a music video just for a bit of fun and have said we would do it when we hit 200 subs but that seems like a milestone you get closer towards it then come back down!

Yeah I see what you mean there, say you lost a whole bunch after uploading a certain video and the loss was say 5 or something you can start thinking its due to the latest video you released even though theres little you can see wrong with it. It will make you feel a bit sad as you will never know.

I feel the same way when members sign up here and dont post at all, its like they took the time to sign up, upload an avatar and then not become involved at all and then leave, I always wonder what made them leave and what I could have done to make them stay and make things better for them etc

At the end of the day though you cant keep everyone interested and its best to spend time focusing on what you do have like your loyal subscribers or in my case the members here who are active

We have never really lost a huge amount in a day, maybe 3 at the most but that was at the beginning when maybe people did not know what our channel was about. Also some people still have issues with a gay couple anyway as it is, so they may not have known that at the time.

It used to bother me a bit. Then the bothering got too bothersome... and now I bother not so much. lol

Although I do still wonder why, sometimes. I've noticed I lose one or two just about every time I upload a new video. I guess people see my new vid bulletin and are like "ooooooh yeeeeeeah, haven't unsubbed that dweeb yet... might as well do so now".

Hmmmm. lol

That's the amazing world of broadcasting for ya. Sometimes you win... and sometimes you curse live on air by accident... and lose your butt.

Yeah theres so many different reasons it might not even be related to what you do, who you are, the quality, the content etc it could be anything really. I think as mentioned it would be cool having a reason why someone unsubbed, like say you click Unsubscribe they have to leave an anonymous reason for unsubbing but I could imagine something like that only being abused or used to upset people.

Not bothered by it at all. I used to get offended but why worry when there's millions of other people out there on youtube who will watch and sub.
