Does he has rights to strike me ??????

Hello,
Have a little bit issue wich is strange.

So the thing is I have a Community channel and I upload videos from another people.Some message me If I can feature their videos some I asked them for permission to feature their video and they gave me a yes.So every video I uploaded has permission to reupload them.

Now someone came to me ,wich he has the same content and has over 1 Million subs . He told me this:

"Option 1: You can simply not use the videos that we have exclusive rights to, which will be hard for you as we have over 500 creators that signed these rights. We will either claim or strike you if you do.

Option 2: You can make an agreement with us, which you will gain access to our massive licensing library. Which you will be free to use any content as you feel free from any of the 500 creators. Our lawyers will protect your channel, and remove any strikes or anything else really. "


But Those videos dont belong to him. So I dont know what this is. Do he has rights to strike me? I mean I got permission to feature their videos or they told me to feature so.... This is abit strange

what you think guys,would like to hear you opinions :)

Exactly what kind of content was copied? Did you make sure that the people who provided you content weren't using exclusive rights material?
 
You could start by verifying with the content creators you work with, whether or not they know who this other group is and if they've signed agreements with them.

Its their 100% own material ... but I dont know If they gave liscene to the other guy ,does this means automaticly that the content dont belong them anymore?

Yes, if they signed an exclusive rights to him/his company (which is likely they did sign exclusive rights away if the channel is big).
