Does having a full intro have any benefits? (Discussion & Poll)

Hello, i am an Youtuber who has had experience with YouTube, but am starting a fresh new gaming channel. I am planning to have in each video just play a bit of music with a normal intro saying "Hello" and telling my name and the nature of the episode. But while editing i began to wonder if it would be more beneficial for a full intro? With title cards and such?

Please leave what you think about the matter!
I personally like short intros without title cards, but title cards seem to give a professional look, and i may start to use them.

I'd say keep it short and simple. For me, when I watch gaming videos, I tend to want to get right to the content. I don't mind an intro, but i've seen videos where the intro was 20 or 30 seconds long, one was even a whole minute. Sometimes I won't even bother to keep watching if the intro is too long. I'd say, 10 seconds is the perfect amount of time. I also noticed, if you have around 30 seconds of gameplay,then the intro, it makes your viewer intrigued and curious to watch the rest of the video. I've seen that most good gaming YouTubers do that.

Mine is about 5 seconds, I tend to use the music I'm going to start with and that will always change, which I feel adds to the video and gets the viewer ready for some action! (or something)

I don't use intros.
I just say that it's me in the beginning of the video, so I can jump right to the content.

if you want to use a full intro my lowly opinion is , it have to be so nice to caught the attention of the viewers if the intro dont have that just made a short one around 5 10 sec max , the content are the most important but if you have a nice intro ofcourse it will help

Intros in general suck. and analytics show that people click away if the intro is too long.
the ONLY reason I have an intro is because my videos have been stolen and uploaded all over the internet. So I want my stolen vids to advertise my youtube channel.

People have different feelings about intros but most folks like them to be simple and short. Personally I love big ambitious intros!
