Does facecam make a good livestream?

I have software that records facecam for my videos...but my streaming software (the same one to record, I just use external software for facecam) cannot render facecam and the gameplay smoothly. I use the Elgato's software and my PC isn't powerful enough for their function "Stream Command" which allows for facecam and other overlays. Can I still make a good stream without facecam? I badly want to have it, because I love showing my face to the audience, but it's not something I can do.

Hmm you'd just have to sell your personality to people and make sure your commentary is good and not awkward. A lot of people watch streamers for the reactions but its not needed since plenty of streamers don't use facecam. Just make sure you have topics to talk about if your not able to constantly speak for an hour or more. Practice makes perfect though
