Does anyone uses Wacom tablet to edit videos?

I'm planning on getting my wife a Wacom intuos5 so she can draw and edit pictures, so I was wondering if anyone in here uses it to edit videos and I would like to know if it's good for that.

I haven't used mine to edit videos... I use it on photoshop all the time though

I use a Wacom Splash to animate sometimes. I use it mainly in After Effects and Flash.

I use it for photoshop all the time, never heard of using one for videos hehe

Using one to edit videos sounds like hell, I'd rather edit a Leap Motion.
