Does anyone know what embedly.com is?

I posted a video on Thursday and did nothing to promote it so I was completely surprised when it received a few hundred views the first day. Today I could see the traffic sources in analytics for that day. Most of the views came from"external" and then, more specifically, "embedly.com." I've seen embedly.com a lot of times in my traffic sources. Is there a way to pinpoint who is posting my video? Most of my views come from me promoting and my videos suggesting each other so I'm just curious and happy that someone else is taking an interest in one of my videos.

That's what I thought as well. If I'm not mistaken they technically watched it from the site itself and not click on the video to go to the youtube page.

I don't think you can pinpoint the exact origin tho. If anything it would be one of the external sites listed in your analytics.
