Does a Facebook Page Help Promote your Gaming Channel?

I just made a Facebook Page for my YouTube channel and I was wondering if any of you guys have any tips about getting the most out of it. I plan on uploading short clips of my videos with the link to the full video in the description. Thank you all in advance!

I feel like a Facebook page wont really do too much for a channel in the early stages of your YouTube career, as most likely the people liking your Facebook page would be the subscribers you already have. I think as your channel grows, it makes more sense to have a Facebook page, the more subscribers you have, the more Facebook likes you can get, and the higher chance of someone sharing one of the videos you post, leading to more Facebook views, and potentially more subscribers.

It is smart to get the page ASAP though, for branding reasons!

For me it really does help but the thing is you have to utilize the page with your current Facebook account though. Since you already have friends on Facebook as your network, use them.

The majority of my page's likes right now are from friends from my personal Facebook. Thank you!
