Do You Think My Edits Fit?

Tuurngait Gaming

I've Got It
Hi! I'm Tuurngait!
So I have a video of Outlast, an amazing horror game, and I want to explain a bit about how I make my content before I ask for a review!

So in most of my content, I try to add silly little edits. For example, in the video you're about to watch, review and hopefully give me constructive criticism back to help me improve, you'll see that I added little silly things within the horror game! Such as one part at 13:50.. that's just one out of a couple I added in just THIS VIDEO. I tend to add things like this in others, but I have learned in other ways to make edits fit anger, silent rage, mistakes, hell even a horse spinning around in Minecraft zoomed in with a dumb sounding "wheeeee" and so on!

this is my Outlast video, part 2 of the series. A rough series for me to record personally, but nonetheless exciting for me.
What do you think? Could I have done better? Did you spot any areas that an edit would have been necessary or neat to add? If so, give me a time stamp and explain!
If you're curious of other things, by all means you can check the other videos and give me criticism on those too because I want to improve and do my best!

Can I get some rates on my self made picture and channel art? I used Photoshop for it. I'm not the best, but I'm wanting to know if I should improve on it.

What ways could I improve it?

How could I improve it?

Why should I improve it?

Thanks if you leave me some feedback! :D

The banner and profile pic seem to be fine for now. The content is pretty enjoyable but a bit too long, at least imho. Maybe just montaging the funniest parts or cutting it a bit shorter. And the added illustration was nice but I think it would help if there were more :D

Hey Tuurngait,

The art seems ok, but I think you could really improve on it a lot. In the banner you could add some of the game characters that you play the most or are having a series about, which I think you have tried to do for the avatar, but they are really small and difficult to see, so I would swap the avatar and banner around. Make the avatar simpler and the banner more personalised as there is a lot more space to use.

BTW your latest video cracked me up, you got so lucky soo many times ;)

I see that you have put a border to your webcam which is nice, but maybe make it just a bit thinner. For the outro, going by the latest video, make sure to not leave the black borders on either side and add some end of screen cards for viewers to subscribe and to send them to other videos!!

Add more to the description of every video. Add what you have done in it (at least as a referance to yourself in the future), add links to your social media, a link to subscribe, the music that you used and maybe even a small description of the game for new viewers.

Try to work iwth the lighting a bit so that the camera can see you better and thus it will increase the quality of its recording. Dark environments are not the best for cameras. Than when the room will be much brighter and your webcam will look much better, you will want to add things to the wall, maybe some posters or something related to the games you play or your channel.

Hope that helps :)

I think the edits are fine, since you are doing game play the edit doesn't interfere with the game and the edit is funny.
