Do you need adsense to get paid from YouTube?

Hello everyone,

I am looking to monetize my youtube videos, but in order to do that, I need to have an adsense account. I try to make an adsense account, and it tells me

"Unfortunately, our records indicate that you're not eligible to participate in AdSense at this time. Please be sure to review our Terms and Conditions."

Please help me. Do I need adsense? If so, how can I actually make an adsense account ffs?

Just checked your profile, you're 16 by it. If that's correct that's your issue. The terms and condition require you to be 18 and up to be able to use adsense.[DOUBLEPOST=1458434208,1458434131][/DOUBLEPOST]from their site


As stated in the AdSense Terms and Conditions, publishers must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the AdSense program.

If you are not yet 18, you may have a parent or guardian submit an application using their own Google Account. If their application is approved, all payments will be made to the adult responsible for the site.
 
Yeap you need it. First you apply for it than they will send you an email about yes or no. You can apply from that at your channel studio ;)
