Do you like.....

I don't mind ads on youtube, weather it's pre-roll or after, or in between. :) They don't bother me, they're usually really short and I understand why Youtube needs them :)...What I can't stand, is ads on TV! I think I've become as accustomed to watching shows/videos with no interruptions, that watching TV now, is almost unbearable for me.

and how do you think other people think about ads? do u think they like mid roll? for us YTubers is good because generates a lil more revenue but for people that just want to watch a video and see an ads when the videos starts then an ad in the middle of the video, do you think they will keep watching your videos or come back for more videos of yours?

If the video is quite long, I don't really mind much. I understand why someone wants to put as many ads as possible if they are partnered. I mean, I hope people will watch and click ads on my vids, so I can't complain. If it's a YT'er that I really like, or if they are just getting started and they need some support, I will watch ads or let them play through. I only click an ad if I really am interested though. But yeah, I don't mind supporting YouTubers I like. I mean, hell, I put ads on almost all my stuff, and sometimes people watch them or click, and I make a little money. That money goes strictly into buying more equipment so I can make better videos. Did I ramble too long??

I personally love mid-roll ads. We've had a lot of fun with them in the past. Our smoothy challenge video for example (which ended up being quite long) is 7 mins of lead up to to making these disgusting smoothies, and right after they pour their glasses, cheers and go to take a slip, the mid-roll starts playing. I actually find it really funny because it reminds me so much of a TV commercial. I wouldn't use it all the time obviously, but I actually like using it as an anticipation builder, and also as a sort of form of payment (you want to watch us drink this nasty smoothy, you're going to watch one more ad first!). I just think it's really funny. And we've never had anyone complain about either. I plan on using it in some of our larger "special" content in the future.

If it's a long video, like my weekly 5 hour show I'm cool. They add them every hour or so and at a topic change so they flow. I don't care

that was good answer[DOUBLEPOST=1366688610,1366688570][/DOUBLEPOST]so lets say if you have a video of 15 or 20 mins. would you put mid roll ads on those videos?

As long as I dont see the same commercial 3 times in a row like when I watch the discovery channel. I really dont mind. Hell sometimes the ads are really good like the Molson Canadian ones or Old Spce
