Do you keep your channel private from friends and family?

I've Got It
I just wander if other people are the same as our channel. We don't let friends and family know for the sake of being made fun of and judged. Maybe that isnt a good way to be but what is your opinion?

I am very open about YouTube to my friends and family, and they are all very supportive! I guess they can see that it makes me happy!

I posted on all my social medias for people to check out my channel. I am pretty confident with the quality of my videos. It's been a few months since then and all I've gotten is support! Besides, I don't really care if my videos get judged because it's inevitable. I think telling your friends and family is a good way to get a boost of subs!

I don't keep it private from friends, as they all do it too, but family is a different matter. Just don't know how they would react.

Lots of my friends are aware of my channel and are subscribed to me. Family is different though, I don't really talk to them about it. I'm not afraid of them judging it or anything because I'm pretty confident in my quality and stuff, I just don't put it out there y'know? XD

Nope, never. My brothers all do YouTube to some extent and they've been incredibly supportive - my dad even looked into making merch for me, which was the sweetest thing. They're actually one of the reasons I still enjoy doing it so much!

I let everyone I pretty much know that I'm on YT. They can share it and stuff with people that may like it. And this way my paretns know why I'm not responding to them or something for hours at a time lol

i just had to abandon my channel with only 30 subs because all my old videos got pass around my school and most of the people in my grade and dont really want them to see the type of content i make
