Do You Get Paid After $100?

Isaki Tahashi

Loving YTtalk
I'm not real sure how the AdSense with YT works and would like some explanation. I did search a few other sites and read something about how you get paid after you accumulate $100? Would that be $100 over months? Or in one month? And do they pay through a bank account, Paypal, etc?
Any explanation would be grand because I'd really love to know how it works. Thanks!

Since I have never dealt with Adsense and any money I have earned through YouTube has been through an MCN my info may not be correct as it's from what I've heard and from friends who used Adsense:

IIRC Adsense pays at a certain date (if that's correct someone can elaborate on it), you get payed on that date if your account has $100 or more, you must have a card or bank account set up to receive the cash, if you don't, you will get payed at the next pay-day.

I've heard people capable of using PayPal somehow, though you can read into.

Once you reach the limit of $100, AdSense will then notify you and ask you to provide information on how they will pay you, paypal or send you a pay cheque

I am pretty sure Adsense dont pay via PayPal unless this is a new offering that I havent noticed. Here is the payment options info page: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1714397?hl=en-GB

Adsense earnings are paid monthly, say you earned $200 in March 2015 you would receive those earnings between April the 22nd roughly and the 1st of May. Over the past 7 years of having an Adsense account I have found I usually receive earnings in my bank around the 27th on average, sometimes later and sometimes earlier. If you dont hit the threshold of $100 (I believe it is that, I live in the UK and it is £60) the earnings are carried forward to the next payment round, if you reach it they pay out with the next payment schedule.

Grand! Thank you. I'm not worried about Paypal being used, just a curiosity. But you explained it well. I'll take a look at the link.

I believe it has something to do with using the account's IBAN as you details for Adsense, however my friend tried it before and it's never worked.

Oops my bad I guess there isn't a paypal option. I'm excited to get my first cheque I wanna frame it lol And then the rest of the money can come through online banking haha

Actually that has gotten me thinking, I have a PayPal business card which acts as a kind of debit card, I have an account number, sort code, it could actually work :p[DOUBLEPOST=1431376261][/DOUBLEPOST]Actually I was wrong, theres no sort code just the long number :D
