I Love YTtalk
Do you guys think thumbnails on a channel need to all match eachother? Like the same font, or the same background texture or something like that? I think it looks pretty cool and people can make out if a video is urs or not right away. However i like to make diffrent ones, as i enjoy thinking of diffrent designs when making a video

Your thumbnails all have the same shape and they all have rage comic faces in them, so they have enough similarities that people will know it's your vids, so you could get away with having different fonts and colours and stuff

Yeh i was looking to have the same shape in all of them, and also cartoon faces. I want to experiment with colours and fonts cos i havn't found the best one for my channel yet

You have an extremely good question. And it differs for everyone. My older ones use to be similar and then I tried doing different things (I'm at University studying graphic design so it got boring doing the same thing).
When I make a thumbnail - I start by creating something which speaks through images (as best as the video topic allows me to) and then later add text and a colour scheme.
I always use the same font or atleast similar to match my channel style and I keep a consistant colour scheme.(mkre recently).

In a trying not to be spammy way possible - I recommened you having a little look at my channel thumbnails and see how they have progressed through time. It may help you alot. It may not help at all.
I hope I helped![DOUBLEPOST=1440608024,1440607828][/DOUBLEPOST]

I just checked out your channel. It's great. I love how you have used white to almost chnage the shape of your thumbails...if you know what I mean. Thats a cool idea!
Just a few tweeks and some time and you will find whats best for you! You're almost there though theyre great.

Having a unified theme, but not necessarily identical to each other, is probably your best bet. Every once in a while, depending on the video, we change things up.

I checked ue channel out and i like ur thumbnails! I may make them like you in the future, as having my face in them would make sure they know they are my videos. I think its important they look fairly similar. Thanks for the feedback on my thumbnails bro :D[DOUBLEPOST=1440608653][/DOUBLEPOST]

I see what you mean, ur thumbnails do follow a similar pattern

I have the same border and font in my thumbnails, but otherwise I change it up. If someone were to see a thumbnail of yours they would think "oh yeah that's his thumbnail" but not identical. You are doing a good job especially with the shape of it, very unique :up2:

For me It's mostly my series who have the same theme but others I change them, so all are different but have more or less the same style
