Do I need an AdSense account in order to get accepted in an MCN?

No you need a payplay just apply with Freedom! there is a lot of things they cover with you and a lot of help right in the beginning!

If I don't enable monetization on my channel settings then how will I be able to monetize them?
Networks have their own creator platform, is there where I'll do it? But isn't that platform linked with my channel?...

Last I recall if you don't enable it then you can't monetize through normal means like a network. Adsense is bound to your name as its almost legal thing to be quite honest and networks will see standing of your AdSense account. If it was flagged due to monetizing copywritten content for example then you can't be on a network and stuff there is whole set or rules for networks and they cant allow certain people I think your required to have valid adsense account. I do know some places offer brand deals as form of payments like one time payments but you need existing viewership for such a thing.

Networks have their own adsense account. When you join a network, your youtube channel becomes linked to their adsense account. Therefore, all your ad earnings goes to their adsense account instead of your own. Then networks pay you via their own method (i.e. paypal, check, bank transfer, etc.).

It's like monetizing your videos with adsense except it's the network's adsense and they get your money and pay you.

Network pay you = paypal / bank wire(depends on the network and your location)

Some network do see if you had an active adsense account before they accept you, so my answer is yeah, u need an active adsense account, but some network dont see that, they just partner you if u have an active channel. But after you partnered with them, your youtube channel basically had nothing more to do with your adsense acc.
