Do I leave Fullscreen?

So I've finished my year with fullscreen and handed my notice for leaving a while back, as I wasn't really sure that I was gaining anything. I followed up today to double check that they would disconnect me, and they've come back and said "Yes if you want, but we would love you to stay so we have changed your split to 85/15.".

Now I have no idea if Adsense alone will give more than 85% of the RPM that Fullscreen get, so I might actually be earning more with a network.

I rarely use the gorilla campaigns these days (though perhaps I should), and I don't tend to cover songs that are in the library of tracks they have, so other than earnings I can't think of any reason to stay with Fullscreen. I suppose what I'm asking is, will an 85% split of Fullscreens RPM be better than standard adsense earnings?

The answer is NO, you are not earning more with the network and I have over 6 million views a month to prove it.
 
In my opinion, I think you should leave Fullscreen. Their CPMs are low and if money is the only factor, you will make more in other networks due to higher CPM and higher split (many other networks might give you 90/10). Fullscreen tried that bs with me when I submitted my 30-day notice (saying bs like we really care about you and would love to continue this relationship even though they never even heard of me) and made me think about not leaving but saying no was probably the best decision I made, now that I had more time to think about it. I can't wait to leave.

Yes, I am still in my first year with Fullscreen. According to SocialBlade, I am #14 out of more than 15,000 channels on FS.

I can directly compare my FS results from the same month, previous year with Adsense. As for their Gorilla campaigns, I only do the ones that make sense for my channel, my audience, and the advertiser. The opportunities have been disappointing.

Maybe it's time you had a little chit-chat with Fullscreen :D

Ask for proof that they are selling any advertising? :p

I will be but I have also talked with channels from other networks and they are not seeing increased CPM's with their networks either. While some people will keep saying that FS has low CPM's, they aren't that much different than other networks.

For all it's worth, leave. Low CPM's and a 2 year contract is something you don't want sign for again.
 
I agree with Shane. Ask them for a fill rate on your channel. I will bet you they are selling little or no ads on your channel. I know this from experience with a different network.
 
Unless you're at the top of your vertical, it's unlikely they're selling a significant amount of ads for your channel. For most reasonably established channels, you can count on about 10% extra per month, which would offset a 90/10 contract. Results will vary from channel to channel. Our gaming channel does very well despite only receiving 50-60k views per month, but there's no way of knowing if they try to sell an ad for our gaming channel based on our main channel. My advice-go back to Adsense and get a feel of how much they did for you when you get your first statement. There's no rule saying you can't go back to Fullscreen (or any other network) once you leave the network.
