Do any of you get labeled into certain groups on youtube?

I've always been seen as the guy who games ALOT or even better the guy who doesn't care.

Its really hard to impress me even when I was a kid I never cared about half the stuff others enjoyed. Still quite the same now.

Labeling isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is part of how we connect. We're always seeking similarities in others to connect to them and the labeling gives a stranger more traits to possibly connect to.

This also works in negatives, yes, but you can also use it for you. Label yourself before other can label you. That way you get to choose your label. It does have to suit you though, or else it won't stick. Some self-reflection needed here, you can't label yourself as "The Weightlifting Guy".

And then don't just be a xyz, be THE xyz. OWN that label! You want people to think of you whenever they hear xyz, no matter when they hear it. That's basically free advertisement...

Sincerely,
JustSomeGermanDude ;)

Interesting topic. I got labeled last week when I responded to a video that's topic was feminism. I merely pointed out that I had not heard that Sweden was making men sit down to pee and that lead to a discussion about legislating contraception. I don't label myself a feminist because of the negative connotations the word has.
Didn't matter. For merely expressing some innocuous comments, I got labeled a feminist "man hater," "parasite," "s**t," "bleeding hole," "evil," "stupid," and a "c**nt."
Attempts at reason were a major FAIL.
Sometimes your best bet is to move on and pick your battles wisely. Some are unwinnable.

Yeah, people also like to brush of any constructive advice as hate, cause most really only want praise, even when asking for feedback. So they just label anyone as a hater who isn't all out loving what they do...
