So, I noticed that the music policies feature is to be removed with Creator Studio Classic. This is a bit of a blow for me as I use it quite a bit to check the copyright/usage status of tracks I might want to use in my videos.
Is anyone else negatively affected by this service removal?
Do you know of any alternatives (perhaps third party) that do a similar thing?
I understand that I can use royalty-free music libraries etc, but often I want to use a specific song by a specific artist and want to check how that will impact my channel in order to make a decision. My internet connection is pretty bad and so it takes me a decent amount of time to upload my videos, so uploading and then waiting to see if there are any issues seems counterintuitive and is extremely annoying for me as I then have to dive back into my edit, replace, sync, re-render, re-upload etc... and even then I could still be in the same situation once uploaded for a second time.
Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

The Music Policy Directory will be going away with Creator Studio Classic.
As you've probably heard, we're in the process of moving over to the new and improved Studio. As a result, we're focused on migrating and building features where we see healthy usage with an impact on creators' goals.
This one, unfortunately, didn't make the cut. We introduced this Music Policies tool years ago to help creators proactively avoid copyright issues with music in their videos. But it's seen low usage and would need substantial work to be migrated and improved. Moreover, we've found that creators are addressing this need by uploading their videos as private or unlisted in order to spot any issues before publishing videos, which we plan to build a better experience around in the new Studio.
As always, if you need free and safe music and sound effects for your videos, visit our Audio Library. We add new music every month.
