Did youtube change the way it counts views?

I do not know if this has been asked before, but did youtube do something to the way it counts views?

The last two days the amount of views on my channel dropped like a rock to the bottom,and I heard from a few other people that there are some issues with the view count.

Does anybody know about this or can clarify?

Again if this has been asked, I am sorry, I could not see any other thread.

yeah somethings up my video has a few likes but says no views and some big youtubers have really low views like 40 views and a couple houndred thousands likes lol

Yeah i noticed it, i have a friend with 1.4 mil subs who gets 301+ after like 4 minutes, now today and yesterday it took 30-40 minutes which is pretty ridiculous.
