Because of no interest, I've canceled this... Maybe some other day. ^^
Hi Guys!
I've noticed that I like to watch a lot of British and Utahn YouTubers, and I think it is partly because they often have a lot more connections with each other. There really aren't any YouTube group connections in Colorado, so I thought we could start one.
I propose we start a meetup group for Colorado YouTubers to discuss YouTube-related topics. ^_^ How often we meet will be determined by how interested people are in a meetup group. For now we'll play it by ear.
Weather Permitting, let's have our first meetup at STEAM Espresso Bar in South Denver on [Because of no interest I've canceled this...]. Please check back to this thread closer to the date to see if it has been canceled because of a snowstorm. I don't want anyone driving down the highway during whiteout conditions!
Location's Website: http://www.steamespressobar.com/
Address: 1801 S Pearl St, Denver, CO 80210
Cost: Free, but please be respectful and purchase a beverage from the coffee shop...
Here is what the coffee shop looks like on the outside:
Our first discussion could be over this PDF on how to grow a brand on YouTube:
https://think.storage.googleapis.com/docs/creator-playbook-for-brands_research-studies.pdf
We won't be able to cover the entire PDF in 1.5 hours, but we could discuss a few sections. I'll try to take some notes and post them to this thread when we are done. ^^
Please let me know if you are interested in attending. I'm assuming there are going to be about ~3 of us..lol. If there are a lot of Colorado YouTubers who are interested, we may need to find a bigger coffee shop.
Also, if everyone happens to live up in Northern Colorado, please let me know, and maybe we can meet closer to where I live. Steam is a 70 minute drive for me (although, it's a necessary drive because it's right next to my violin luthier)...
Lastly, a disclaimer: although I am currently a staff member here at YTtalk, this meetup is not endorsed by YTtalk or YouTube.
Please make sure to read through this safety tips thread before attending:

Yay! Hopefully there are a few folks who may be interested in starting a group like this. ^^
