DELETING VIDEOS!?

There were a lot of videos on my channel that I just wasn't happy with, mostly because of audio issues. So I deleted them. Is this what you would have done in this situation? Did I make a good decision? I honestly felt like they were holding my channel back, and I don't want bad quality to be the face of my channel.

I did that too! I had some super old Black Ops 2 videos out and I deleted them because the audio quality was horrid and they were just bad in general. I think you made a good decision deleting them, because that's what I would do/have done. I think if the content is good though you should totally keep old videos up because they show how far you've come!

I would never delete the good videos! I kept the videos I had loads of fun making and am proud of!

I think the only reason I would ever delete a video would be because of an error or audio issue. As long as I had fun making the video, I want it to leave its mark on my channel--good or bad.

There are certain videos I delete, others I make private or unlisted. If it's total crap I will likely delete it. I have some stuff as unlisted because I still want to see it but it may be something others don't want to see

It's depends.Should you really need to delete a video??Yeap sometimes it's become important if you have any big issue like you said "Audio Issue"...It's a good idea to delete a video that people are facing problem while watching.But it's not going to work sometime.Like if you delete a video just because of little mistake that was not required.Cause no one can make a perfect video.Everyone learn from mistake.Even my old videos on my channel are just crap if I compare it with my new videos.But I don't like to delete those videos.Cause it help me to find the mistakes that I made on these old videos & make my upcoming video quality better.So I thing that depends

I like my old videos.
yes they are Ms paint movie maker awful,
but when someone says:
"I wish I could draw like that"
then I just day yes you can, look at my old videos, chances are they are already better than i was back then! And its clear how much the phrase "practice makes perfect" is true

plus those "this was made before I was born" comments make my day xD and make me feel ooold

I don't know why but I feel I would never delete unless there was an upload error. If it was me looking back on a video and thinking, "wow thats a little bit cringe" then I would usually just private it.

If you're not happy with it, delete it. I mean, it is your channel. That being said, it's exciting to go back and reminisce about your improvements
