Deleted My First Video Based on Feedback (and it just sucked)

Munchito696

I Love YTtalk
So many people hated my second mountain biking video that I deleted it, lol. If I liked it at all I would have kept it up despite what other people said, but it really did look like s**t and was way too long. Oh well, you can't win them all! I had one person say their forehead was bleeding, I'm assuming he meant that he rammed his head through his monitor, LOL! I got plenty of ideas and tips after responding to the negative feedback in a mountain biking forum. That's what you do with negative feedback, LEARN from it, don't cry about it. I basically interpreted what others may consider trolling into useful information.

You should have saved it for later ha ha. then you can measure your improvments and maybe later on go back and make fun of yourself in another video with snippets from that video. :D But ya good advice. be humble with the criticism that comes in and you will go far!

Good on you, never compromise and settle for inferior products. At least that's how I feel about what I put forward.

I think these forums sometimes are too lenient and nice, so people aren't used to getting negative feedback.

I can never take you seriously. I read your words of advice, and at the end every time, there's the three boobed girl....

I would've left it up if it had good views! XD
It had about 250, probably most of those were in the mountain bike forum I go to. Someone actually said "Lol, poor guy post his first video and gets railed!" Then he mentioned some other guy who posted his 500th s****y video and gets kudos all the time or something. I got some good advice from others who do the MTB videos, they showed me theirs and told me how they set it up, etc. One person even told me I'm not allowed to wear knee pads on that course because he's ridden it, lol. He said if I do a better video on that trail but still have kneepads on he'll be p****d[DOUBLEPOST=1368745074,1368744960][/DOUBLEPOST]

I think if you cross your eyes just enough, it will turn into two. It's the reward for reading my posts (o)( o )(0)

Oh right, wasn't much of a loss them. ^,^

It's funny how things work out. It's good you have helpful people... :roflmao2:

Well just stay positive and learn from your mistakes. That's what I try to do, anyway. This forum is great if you are looking for help because everyone here will try to help you the best they can.
