Dazzle Capture Card Help

AffectiveGamers

I've Got It
I am Andrew, Head of AffectiveGamers, and I need help with my Dazzle Capture Card. It's set up and everything but I need the quality to improve. Two things:

Audio Lag- I am recording my videos fine but I find that once I have it recorded, the audio of the game gets off by two minutes.

Video Quality- My video quality of the recorded session turns out to be really laggy at times and can get really laggy.

Help is appreciated.

Dazzle lies about being HD....It's awful, get an HDPVR or something... I did a recording with a Dazzle and the highest it could go reminded me of flushing a toilet. The editing software that comes with it is decent though. As for audio lag, if you get a good editing software (I use sony vegas) you can mess with the audio and video and sync them.

Yeah, you should really just get an HDPVR/Black Magic. The dazzle records in 480P, but it up scales the video and says its in HD when its really not.

Sorry to burst your bubble but dazzles are horrid at recording, If you render it out to 720p the footage looks overly stretched... really its all lies it can't record in HD never will do and well the audio is dreadful to add to that... In all honesty you are better splashing out that few extra pounds and getting a HDPVR, you can pick them up off eBay for around £70/80 (if you're lucky £60) that's if you really want to put the effort in with YouTube. If you do commentaries I would recommend getting a snowball mic to, amazon sell them half price so its a pretty good offer. That's if you want good quality for your channel + this will help with growing it.
