Cutsom Thumbnail Not Showing Up!

Hi Guys,
Not sure if anyone has had this happen but I uploaded a video and set a custom thumbnail and it wont stick. every time I go back and reset it it, it shows that it is set to a custom thumbnail but its the image of one of the automatic video images. . . the main video shows the same thing. I have redone the thumbnail and tried setting it like 30 times. . . any ideas?

Probably because you're not patient enought and tried it 30 times. It can take time for it to process and show the custom thumbnail
 
If you uploaded custom thumbnail after the video was already uploaded yeah it can take more than 8 hours then. But if you uploaded it while the video was uploading then it should be there right away
 
I uploaded it when the video uploaded and it appears to me as if it is a custom one - like in the video manager I see my custom. . . but if you to to my channel it is just a video image. . . . its very strange
 
I have the solution for this probleme :)
It's just your web browser who has a problem , , your thumbnail may sometimes take time to get upload , but if you waited , and it still not showing up , so the probleme is from your browser , all you have to do is to clear the caches ,,, for exemple if you're using chrome , you go to settings , and Advanced settings , and there you will find it , So the solution is to clean up your internet browser , and that's it ! hope it will help you ! and please check up my channel i just started 3 days ago , it's about Top 10 videos ... you'll enjoy it !
 
That happened to my newest video too. It shows as my custom thumbnail on the phone app, but not on the desktop version. I guess I'll just have to wait it out. I understand your frustration though.:biggrin:
 
Exactly!!!! Ok maybe it's just a glitch that will work itself out. Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone or crazy
 
Sometimes Thumbnails are very messy. One of my older videos doesn't show any thumbnail in my video manager at all, even after months. But others can see the custom thumbnail I added in their feed or on my channel page.
