Cutscenes In Games

Hello iv'e been wondering is it okay to upload a video when there is like a cutscene in the game? So im doing a walkthrough for example halo 3 and there comes cutscenes (I am doing commentary) am I able to upload that video with the cutscene in it? Or will I have to edit that cutscene out?
 
As well as I understand, you can can upload any gameplay and monetize it as long as there is commentary, I'm sure the same rules apply to cutscenes
 
i dunno,i know a few gamers that i am subbed to have cut out the cut scenes casue they were un sure... are you with a network? ask them with what you can get away with and what you can't get away with...and if you are not with a network....i don't think you can actually monetize the videos unless things have changed...
 
I have an entire 30minute video of C&C cutscenes so nobody is going to make me take it down! In short yes you can but I doubt you can make money from it. Try if you want though all they can do is reject your claim if you can't.
 
As cutscenes are not user dependent and are created by the company they are copyrighted moreso than the game, but they can still be used if you own either the correct licences, or not for commercial purpose.
 
Normaly you could, but I think I heard something about microsoft not allowing monetization im their games.
