CS GO Betting Guides, Legal?

Hey guys i'm kinda still fresh to this site but here goes nothing.
So i want to make a new series on my channel in which i bet on csgo matches on csgolounge(some of you might be familiar with this) and show my bets for the day, and i'm asking myself if this is against youtube rules or not, considering that i will be betting skins that kind of has a real $ value

I've seen a fair amount of betting videos already on youtube so I can't see why you wouldn't be allowed to do so. Do it anyways! Worse comes to worse they delete the video right?
 
Gambling content that is designed to be informative, strategic and such is a violation of the AdSense/Adwords monetization rules but is not against the standard TOS. So, as long as you don't monetize it, you shouldn't get a strike for it. Making betting guides would be similar to creating videos on how to play poker or other games of chance.

I do love how much awful guessing goes on in the copyright forum though. Mostly people padding their post count without any actual knowledge on the topic. Really helpful to say "I've seen it on YouTube, so it must be fine". Guessing with copyright and legal advice can be quite dangerous for anyone who takes the time to listen to you.

Thanks for the info, after reading your comment i did some investigation on my own and read some of adsense TOS and it turns out that in a few countries you are allowed to monetize gambling content(mine included(norway)) so does this mean i have a green light to monetize the video?

Not unless you're going to lock it to being viewable only in Norway.

If your betting on the north-american scene tonight, i would go with a low bet on liquid as it is a best of 1 and liquid haven't played to bad recently and since the odds are so high on clg, a small bet on liquid could be really rewarding. however no promises since this is a high risk high reward bet. May the odds be ever in your favor
