Crikey! I've lost my mojo!/Coming back after a 2 year hiatus

Hey guys

I haven't made a video on my main channel since August 2014, I have been busy with University, focusing on my other channels, and I also feel a bit like I lost my mojo for making scripted videos. Have any of you ever taken a long break from making videos? Was it easy to come back?

I can think of a number of reasons why I stopped, one is that I moved house and the new house doesn't have any good places to film really, I can maybe think of one decent place, but my old place had much better places to film in.

I also feel kinda nervous about making videos, I don't even know why, my other channels are the kind where I don't really need a script, I can just start filming with a good idea of what I want to say and ad lib it. On my main channel I used to write scripts, practice etc. I feel kinda anxious about doing this.

What is a good way to come back? Should I make a comeback video, explaining that I've been busy, and maybe with a few gags? Or should I just make a video like the ones I used to make, and come back with no explanation, as if I'd never been away?

Any advice is appreciated :)

I would create a video explaining what happen which caused the hiatus then just go from there. Just do what you fell comfortable with. Those that truly support you will stay with you no matter what.

Thank you very much for that, that's what I shall do :)

Welcome back! =) I've moved this to the video ideas and planning discussion forum. ^_^
Thank you, my apologies for posting in the wrong section to begin with, I wasn't quite sure where to post it, thank you for moving it to the correct place :)
