Just writing in to see if anyone else was having issues with Creative Nation refusing to release partners after contract expired.

Well anyway heres my short review so far being a partner with them for now 10 months and 3 weeks. I partnered with a 10 month contract. At first I was really excited to join and the 90% rev share seemed great.

Then the problems started with first payment was delayed for 5 weeks. And the payment also came with a 20% loss. When asked about it stated it was because of bank fees. So ended up with really a 70% rev share.

Then after that payments were only delayed for 1 week after that but the 20% sometimes 10% deduction kept happening with the same reason of bank fees.

Then during july I had a video go viral on my channel and had my biggiest earnings. Yet that payment ended up to never being paid. When asked Creative Nation about it they just ignored me until I finally gave up and moved on.

Later on I did ask the bank about the bank fee Chase) and they simply told me that Creative Nation was tricking us and there was no error or bank fee. Which I asked Creative Nation about this, but they simply ignored me. And I sent emails to almost every staff person at creative nation Shane and so on. As well as the support ticket. But no response.

Well anyway I had given Creative Nationa 60 day notice to be released as I was nearing the end of my contract. Then 30 day notice. And then a 15 day notice. And then a 5 day notice. And finally notice on the day of release.

Well its been about 3 weeks now and still not released. When asked why simply are not responding. I sent countless emails to support and shane but getting no response.

This is my short review of creative nation. And wanted to ask if anyone know any tips or ways to get released from a network that refuses to release partners.

Thanks
Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't seen a good review on Creative Nation on this forum; Shane used to be quite active here, but I think he's left due to having the worst reputation here.

Look, as soon as you're released. Stay the hell away from them. xD

If I am able to get released will definitely stay away. But fear I will never be released, and scared that the payments will also not be paid out seeing as the contract is over and was suppose to be released 3 weeks ago.

Haha, well, I yet haven't got to the end of my contract, but I'm already willing to leave. I've tried to see if they could let me out earlier, but turns out it's impossible, even though I don't earn any money, views, or anything (And I don't need it, either) from them. If I joined their network is because I got an email asking me to join, and as I really didn't know how a network worked, I thought it was something like a community where people help each other xP Oh well. My contract ends on March, because I think I joined on August, and hopefully I don't have any problems leaving the network.

I was under the impression Creative Nation partners are all on 30 day rolling contracts and could use the unlink button, have you tried to unlink using it?

I have done that about 5 times. They updated the new contracts, making them no lock-in about a month ago, but not the old contracts. Anyway, I will try to see if they can let me out now, because the last time I tried was a month ago. And there are already some networks that I am interested on, and some networks interested on me XD

Wont the contract be the rolling contract now your 10 months is up, surely you would be transferred to the new one so you can leave 30 days after the 10 months of being with them, I could be wrong here of course as I dont know the inner workings of CN.[DOUBLEPOST=1417949049][/DOUBLEPOST]

Shane is on here often although he doesnt post as much as he used to, he doesnt have a bad reputation here IMO, a lot of people appreciate that he helps out in the monetization forums and answers a lot of questions people ask.

Sorry to hear you are having any issues.
Creative Nation's support email is support@cnation.co they will get back to you within a few hours on weekdays :)

I've had a look and we have no channels pending unlink within that time-frame, we currently have 6 channels pending unlink for up to 4 days ago who have been notified this is due to an issue on YouTube's end with linking/ de-linking channels from our affiliate Content Owner.

If you are in the above, we apoligise for the inconvenience, the issue should be sorted by next week.

I was not aware I had a bad reputation on here  The reason for posting less is due to increased work-load in work.

New contracts are 30 days rolling due to the fact Creative Nation has better technology for organising/ serving advertising campaigns in shorter periods of time, partners on those agreements can leave by emailing the address above/ submitting a ticket/ starting a live chat.

Oh, so you're like the leader of Creative Nation? Or just part of it? If you read one of my posts, you'll see my problem ~ a simple misunderstanding of the purpose of the network, due to an email with very little information about your network, which requested me to join. Because of that, I am not allowed to unlink for your network, even though I get 0 revenue/advantages from it, nor I'd like to get any. It'd be great for me if you could unlink me from the network, because it's not giving me anything special, and I thought a network was another thing. Thanks either if you can help me on that or not XP

I own it yes but you are better off contacting support as I am usually fairly busy, support@cnation.co will get back to you within a few hours during the week or you can start a live-chat at cnation.co.

Well Creative Nation's vision was always meant to be providing the highest revenue share (90%) while still providing features like a music library which other networks at the revenue share do not provide.
So that's the revenue/ advantage.

You can unlink at the end of the 10 months but be sure to request this atleast 40 days in advance.
