Creating montage help

hey I post black ops 2 sniper montages on youtube and I was wondering how people put all those cool effects in their vids?

Vegas, After Effects, any sort of editing program and a creative mind helps.

I use Sony Vegas for my effects. Google 'overlays' and you should find some pretty cool effects. Although remember with edits and montages, sometimes less is more.

You can use a program called After Effects, Adobe Premier, or (for Macs) Final Cut.

Personally I use Adobe premiere pro. It will really do the job for what you wanna do

I like sony vegas, but the cool stuff really happens with programs like adobe after effects. That said.. you're going to have to do something REALLY special to stand out in a sea of montages that all look the same.[DOUBLEPOST=1369642678,1369642605][/DOUBLEPOST]I watched some of your videos and one tip that will help without you having to spend a ton of money is to learn to sync your video with whatever music you're playing.
