Creating GIFs

Does anybody know a good program to make .gifs? I want to try to make some stupid ones. Also, does anybody know of a good morphing program? I want to take before and after morphs and make a creepy a** video of it. Thanks!

Photoshop and gimp are two simple ones.

Photoshop is the only one that I know. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of tutorials on YouTube for that
